Summer is here and with it comes many community parades. What’s not to love about parades? There are floats festooned with flowers and banners, dance ensembles, marching bands, and of course, the freebies tossed into the crowds.

Parades bring people together. From all walks of life community members gather and enjoy seeing and hearing the same things as the stranger standing next to them. There is excitement in the air and a lots of energy, especially if young kids are around.

If you could step into a time machine today, which decade would you return to? Would you go back to the ancient Roman age, the Victorian period, see the Civil War in action or maybe go and visit your grandparents in the 1930s? If you’re a movie-goer, then you likely saw the 2016 Jeep Renegade when it made its big-screen debut in the Hollywood hero-fest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Well, if you thought that was cool, the Jeep brand has another hero to put to the test on the silver screen: the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk will fight for earth’s freedom in Independence Day: Resurgence, opening shortly at the end of this month.

Jeep had a big birthday this year. The beloved brand turned 75, and Autotrader took stock of some of its most impactful vehicles in "Jeep's 75th Anniversary: Looking Back at the Iconic Automaker," starting with the CJ-5.

Easter brings with in many things. The start of spring in most of the U.S., marshmallow Peeps, and for Jeep Brand, a darn good excuse to get out and tear it up off-road. The Easter Jeep Safari kicked off earlier this week and what a show it has been.
