Jeep, Ram, and Dodge Win Big at Texas Truck Rodeo

From October 7 - 9, the famous Knibbe Ranch in Spring Branch, Texas was the site of the annual Texas Truck Rodeo, put on by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA). Sixty-nine association members served as judges, evaluating a total of 88 trucks, SUVS, and crossover vehicles. After two days of challenging on- and off- road driving, and scrutinizing each vehicle's styling, efficiency and overall value, 24 awards were handed out. FCA brands took home an impressive one-third of the titles, with Jeep, Ram, and Dodge earning five, two, and one awards, respectively.

"The Truck Rodeo was extremely competitive this year with a record number of media and vehicle entries, so it’s impressive that the FCA brands received top awards in numerous categories,” said TAWA president Michael Marrs, acknowledging the impressive award haul. "The Jeep brand SUVs continue to be favorites among TAWA voters, as every Jeep SUV won its category again this year. In addition, the Ram and Dodge brands also reclaimed titles.”
