The appeal of the EcoDiesel to automotive journalists is its multi-faceted and innovative approach. For perspective, its 420 lb-ft of torque is positively astonishing, making it more potent on the twist end of things than the legendary 5.7L HEMI V8, and with exponentially more impressive gas mileage (29 mpg highway in the 1500).
