This week, the Pentastar swept categories to win nine titles at the Texas Truck Rodeo, five of which came from 2015 Jeep models, and two major wins for Ram trucks.
The 2015 Ram 1500 scored "Best Powertrain" with its innovative 30 mpg 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine! (We're sure that its 28 mpg 3.6-L V6 engine was a close runner up!)
The title of "Heavy Duty Truck of Texas" went to the capable and formidable 2015 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty, which boasts a tow capacity of 17,970 pounds, and a powerful 865 lb.-feet of torque with 6.7L Cummins engine. And the road-crunching 2015 Ram Power Wagon, not surprisingly, took home the title for "Off-Road Truck of Texas"!
As if those honors weren't enough, the scrappy Jeep branch of the family swept through the SUV competition, winning in every category they entered. The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee took three, and one title each was awarded to the spunky 2015 Jeep Cherokee and the rock-crawling 2015 Jeep Wrangler
