Chrysler Enthusiast Displays Classic 1962 300 Sport Series at 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise

Did you make it to this year's Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit, MI? We heard that many Chrysler drivers and fans in the Hudson, MI area made the trip up to the city, where enthusiasts from all over came to show off their unique models.

The American automaker took to its blog, Forward Look, to share some of the stories and special models they encountered at the event. One vehicle that particularly stood out to Chrysler and us here at Gilberts of Sand Creek, a 1963 Chrysler 300 Sport Series that has been faithfully kept up by two generations of female drivers.

The Bermuda Turquoise 300 is owned by Denielle Armstrong, whose mother Anne purchased the vehicle. Not only was her mother drawn to the vehicle's unique appearance, but she also was a gearhead, drag racer and first female member in her local hot rod club.

The beloved vehicle became like a member of their family, with Anne driving it while pregnant with Denielle. She also taught Denielle how to care for the car and keep it in pristine condition to keep turning heads for years to come.
