Here at Gilberts of Sand Creek, we had a feeling that the folks at RAM would be bringing something special to the 2013 SEMA Show this year. And boy oh boy, they didn't disappoint. Keeping in line with the development of the RAM 1500 and increasing the model's popularity. RAM debuted the 1500 Sun Chaser Concept.
It seems that RAM realized that most consumers assume that the 1500 is a pickup meant exclusively for construction sites or work around the ranch. This new concept was built to demonstrate that the 1500 isn't just a workhorse but it can also be used for fun on the weekends.
The Sun Chaser Concept is the ultimate surf vehicle of the 21st Century. Gone are the days of the Beach Boys' woody wagon. This pickup truck is primed for a day at the shore with a special "Orange Blast" paint job. The bed of the truck was also set up with custom Mopar Racks designed to hold multiple surfboards, longboards, and paddleboards.
Once the sun begins to set and you have spent the day enjoying your share of waves, the Sun Chaser concept lets you shower off right next to your truck with a built-in shower head and water bladder located inside the cabin. Then enjoy a few cold ones as you sit on the folding seats bolted to the back of the tailgate.
While the Sun Chaser concept might not be the most utilitaritan vehicle for drivers in the Eau Claire area, it is always nice to know the potential that the models in our lineup of new vehicles really have. If you would like to learn more about the RAM 1500, or any of the other new or used Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles in our inventory, then simply visit the Gilberts of Sand Creek showroom located at County Road I Sand Creek, WI. We hope to see you soon.
