2014 Jeep Cherokee Receives Rather Competitive Pricing

Have you had time to take an in-depth look at the new 2014 Jeep Cherokee? While it does not feature the typical Jeep brand style, many critics and consumers believe this change could be for the better. The new Jeep Cherokee is set to be released this fall, and will come with a number of impressive features. The folks at Gilberts of Sand Creek are especially excited to see customer response to this new Jeep model. With a starting price of only $22,995 (plus $995 for delivery), the Cherokee is priced $400 less than the Jeep Liberty.

While some folks in the Sand Creek Eau Claire region were sad to hear the departure of the Jeep Patriot, the folks at jeep made sure its replacement would be more than impressive. Mike Manley, president and CEO of the brand, goes on to say, "So when we styled this vehicle, when we set our engineers to create this new generation, we wanted to make sure that we were progressive, not just in terms of its capabilities-it is more capable than Liberty-not just in terms of its fuel economy-it's 45 percent more fuel efficient than the previous vehicle-not just in terms of its styling or its interior, but the complete package."¹

Did you know that the new Cherokee will be the first Jeep model to be built on a platform from Chrysler owner, Fiat? This new model will also feature an efficient 2.4-liter Tigershark MiltiAir2 four-cylinder engine. And while the folks at Gilberts of Sand Creek were sad to see the Jeep Liberty cease production, we are confident the Jeep Cherokee will be an acceptable replacement!
